One of my friends' account has been closed by Google, after receiving a check at his postal address. The payment has been stopped by the bank as the account was closed. I had seen his visitors and CTR stats. CTR was as low as 0.5 to 1 on an average. What to tell to Google now???? He has already contacted Google support on this and awaiting for the response.
Did he have any proxy sites by any chance. I have heard that Adsense is canceling some account which are linked to proxy sites.
How can google issue the check and prevent you from encashing it by banning your account? Wait for the reply from google which will clear all your doubts.
Yeah! As the others said above, Google does not disable without any cause. There must be some thing wrong. What was the reason mentioned in the mail? If it was for Invalid clicks, then, forget AdSense....
Adsense sucks on that part...they just think if you dont make them a bunch of money they will get rid of you.... Tell him to find something new...dime a dozen...
i agree, maybe if you tell the type of the site will find an answer close to the reality, i saw people using pop-ups on sites with Adsense, so can be anything
I am afraid to say, it won't help much. Your friend is just way too smaller player nonetheless, its worth sending them a mail.
AdSense don't ban publishers for no reason. Let's wait about their reply and see what's the actual reason. Unfortunately for every unhappy AdSense publisher they got 100 new publishers dreaming to make a fortune online using AdSense.
i've heard it before where google banned account and stopped payment on a mailed check. they started doing it recently. before, even if an account was banned, publishers were able to cash the check as it was already mailed. but now google is doing stop payment on the check so banks will not cash it even if deposited. it will just get returned by google's bank
Google can block the cheques. A long time ago I asked them to block one cheque and send the money through EFT instead. They can do everything
