One mighty site :)

Hi I was just wondering if anyone has ever taught of creating a site where people just add a page about whatever content they want and place they're own adsense on it. I was thinking this would be a good idea because there would be a lot of content, a lot of webmaster experience and make a little money for everyone, is this done already or is it a bad idea?
