Hi Guys, I have some doubt on SEO work. Now-a-days our main keyword is "Computer Training". Specially we work training.html page for get better position on Google.com SERP. But result is different. Our Home page position(16th) is better then training.html page. Also Training page has some content but home page hasn't any content. why it is happen? Webmaster abcotechnology.com
Mostly, because you are doing off page optimization with the "homepage link", That's the reason. Promote training.html page in article directories, place that link here in signature of your account in DP. Do social bookmarking. and classified submissions, will help your internal pages surely.
Hi, Thanks for suggetion. But i'm not agree with you. I don't work offpage with Home page. I'm always trying to promote Training.html page. Also i'm doing exactly what u told me.
Maybe cos your homepage has better links than your training.html page as you recently started promoting it ( Now-a-days). Correct me if I missed something in understanding your post.
What he's saying is that it's likely that other sites are linking to your site's home page using that keyword instead of the training page, which (if he is correct) is why the home page is out-performing the training page for the keyword you've been trying to promote in the search engines.
