I had 2 transactions and I paid both of them, yet the board says I did not pay one. What did I do wrong the second time, because I did not see a button to pay through DP, I just sent the money straight to the buyer.

You can verify with the customer that payment was made and I can provide the paypal details.

There was an auction I bid on, but I would not find how to retract my bid, after finding out that the domain he was selling was not as advertised. Would that be the cause? I posted that I retracted my bid in that post and the reason.

If you didn't pay with instant pay, the system wouldn't know you paid.

Is there a way for me to clear that, it makes me look like a deadbeat.

You can ask the seller to refund it and then pay the normal way, but that's about it.
