One-Hour Consultant / Marketing Therapist

This year, I want to be involved with more businesses than ever, and because of that I am reducing my hourly rates, and will be taking on more of a therapist role. Many companies do not need to hire on a full time interactive marketer, nor do they have the budget to take on thousands of dollars of expenses every month by keeping a consultant on retainer. Would you hire a marriage counselor to hang out at your house ? Our economy sucks right now. People are cutting back on expenses, large companies are going out of business, and some might say it’s a bad time for a startup.

So how do you know if one-hour consulting is right for you ?

* You need to quickly leverage all the new online communication tools, but have no idea where to start.
* You don’t know how each one fits into your overall strategy, and how conversational media can be one of the most powerful things in your marketing arsenal.
* You don’t have any clue about what people are saying about your company, brand, or image - and even if you did, you may not know what to do with it.
* People are not talking enough about you, and you think “If they just knew about us, they would really like us.”
* You business runs on a very tight budget, that can’t afford to hire a marketer, or even have a consultant on retainer for months at a time … but you need to grow.
* You want to build brand champions that will tell everyone about you.
* You have more time than money, and enjoy getting your hands dirty.

HOW IT WORKS

•You can schedule an appointment here, by checking what available times are good for the both of us, up to a week in advance.

•At first, I will only be taking on two one-hour appointments per day, from 12-5, Monday through Friday. You can call, or video chat with me about anything you need, that I may be able to help with. If you live locally (In Orlando), we can obviously do this in person, feel free to come to my home office and I will also bbq. (I make epic ka-bobs)

•When you make your appointment, you will be asked to fill out some relevant information about your problems, and your company, so that I may be more prepared prior to our session, and we can fully utilize the entire hour. If the hour runs a little over, it’s not a big deal.

•It will then give me an automatic update to my phone, my google calendar, as well as my email that we have an appointment. You will also receive a reminder 2 hours prior to your appointment. Any cancellations need to be done two days in advance, and I will be understanding about it - we all have other stuff going on.

•I will still be doing my general consulting practice, but I want to connect with as many people as possible this year. I have been advising my clients to connect, share, communicate, and give “internet hugs”. It’s about time that I start eating the food I’m serving. I find huge value in meeting new people.
