one good link or lots of links? I have bought a new domain which will be a directory of all the sites I own I am just woundering if I place a logo on all the sites I own to that site instead of having lots of links to each site on all my sites would be better for seo and rankings?

that site should get a good ranking then and will a higher pr link mean better ranking in the long term?

It may look more like a link farm though.

Are all your sites on the same ip? If they are it wouldn't do much for good rankings.
If all your domains are registered with your name it would be the same...

More relevant links from external sites which are not on the same IP are better.

Be careful about interlinking sites. Especially if on similar ip ranges.

You need quality, related backlinks from established websites. Basically if your site is about golf and you are optimising a golf related term then you need backlinks from pages that are actually about golf and contain the keywords you optimise for in the text. These pages should have a very small number of other outgoing links.

What you are planning to do with a directory is a very bad idea for too many reasons.

Get some quality links and as many as possible. However, some "spammy" links couldn't hurt as long as the site itself isn't doing spammy linking.
