50+ permanent links if you list your directory, and not one reply?

I don't get your point, that's like saying you have a new phpld and me telling you I prefer bid directories

My site is a directory of directories, not a directory of websites.

I like bidding directories, they can submit too.
I will add a seperate page for them if anyone does.

I made it only $10 now for over 50 links, it has passed 1100 trackable clicks in 3 weeks, trackable dynamic links are only on the homepage and directory list, the rest (over 50 of them) are all static SEO friendly.

I am not aware of any other site on the web that offers up to 50+ permanent links per listing.

Only saying that if you put “new biding for position” directory you get more interest, it’s a question of marketing words.

Might be due to the fact that it's a pixel site? Not much interest there any more. Might be the reason for the lack of interest?

Well i think the model is a big leap away from normal pixel sites, You have to look closely.
And I must say $10 for 50 deep links it’s a real bargain.

Maybe so, but how many will actually look closer? Open the page, pixel site, close page.

    What's there to entice me?

Hi CReed, is your enticement question from a directory owners point of view, or a business that is looking for a lot of directories to submit their website to?

I respect your sentiment about it being pixels on the homepage, webmasters are used to seeing crappy pixel sites but they they generate a lot of actual through traffic, which is the point, getting people to the directories. Would it be more successful if I just delete the homepage?

I am trying not only to get directory owners to submit their directories but also website owners to submit to the ones listed.. hopefully it is like supply & demand. You could list your directory in any other directory and not get traffic, or you could at least get 50 deeplinks with it too. I have several sites listed in lots of other directories and they receive NO traffic at all. The directories who submit the earliest will maintain the best positions within the site.

It was in reply to !Ask!

Well i think the model is a big leap away from normal pixel sites, You have to look closely.

I'm not really sure there's much interest in pixel sites for submitters or visitors looking for directory lists. I prefer a list with text that is readable and ordered in a logical manner as opposed to scattered pixel links which are unknown and share a common image.

Your primary content is the pixel ads and I'm not interested in trying to figure out what's listed. If your primary content doesn't deliver, then I'm outta there. This is just personal preference, nothing more.

Well the internet is like that, you have 10 sec or less to catch the visitor, or it’s gone. :)
