Do u think ICICI is giving CC very easily. In our city, there is a big problem for this. Trying since a month, still no response, they tell that we will be giving u the CC this week and this is being repeated from 4 weeks, still no CC
It is not possible to get verified with both these banks debit cards, I got verified by using ICICI cc i.e VISA card.
hi guys thanx for the responses,but none of them help me i will explain my question once more 1.i hav a couple of debit cards(national banks in India) can i use it to verify the paypal account??? 2.even if i hav a CC(i wont get one coz am a student,but i hav a trusted person who has)is it possible to withdraw money frm paypal to that account??? 3.i know that we can withdraw money as cheques.but will it be possible if i hav reached the $100 limit,ie once i hav reached $100 limit,is my account good for nothing unless i verify it???? 4.is it correct that the only way possible to withdraw money from PP is by cheques.if its wrong pls explain other ways also... thanx guys for ur time
Hi Tweety, I guess you were not paying much attention on this thread. We all have answered your basic questions. I am writing again - 1. Yes, You can verify your paypal with debit card. 2. It is possible to withdraw money even if you verify it with Debit card OR Credit card. The withdrawal depends and varies from Country to Country. If they let you ADD indian Bank a/c in your paypal account, then obviously they will let you withdraw. If not, if you have anyone in US with a bank a/c, You can add it to withdraw the money there. Alternatively, you can send the money to another paypal address (Who has previously done the withdrawal thing successfully). 3. Withdrawal limit for unverified a/c depends and varies from country to country. I think for india it is $100 or less. So unless you verify your a/c they won't let you withdraw more than your limit. 4. The only way is not cheques. As i mentioned earlier there are 3 ways you can withdraw- 1. ADD a US bank A/c, and withdraw 2. Send the Money to another trusted friend, who can withdraw (probably your bro/cousin who is not in india, and perhaps staying somewhere where paypal has imposed less restriction) 3. Use Cheques. thanx Black_Hannd ur sugegstion was useful but i still need some clarifications i hav heard that even if u hav verified PP with CC,u cant withdraw money(unless u hav US account),ie with CC u can put money into PP not take money frm PP,is this true??? in India the PP limit is $100-sending limit,$500 withdraw limit my ques is,suppose i hav $400 and i send $100 to some one so that my limit is reached.now can i withdraw the rest($300) by cheque thanx guys

According to paypal's official website - Verified Paypal users of INDIA can withdraw funds by paper check or to a U.S. bank account, but cannot withdraw funds electronically to their local bank account. Just some additional Info - 1. They use courier to send the payment, which takes about 15 days. 2. They charge $5 for every withdrawal. If i am not mistaken the sending limit ($100) is for Unverified accounts ONLY. So once you verify there should be no problem, your limit will increase automatically to $2000 -$2500 (not sure)! BTW, the Limit is Monthly (not one time). So it means if right now your sending limit of $100 is actually referring to monthly sending limit. . After a month you can send another $100. But there is a ONE TIME sending/withdrawal limit for Unverified a/c ($2000/$2500 if I'm not wrong) I hope i am clear here! Since you have only $500 in your a/c, it should be no problem! Its just going to take you 5 months! OR else Why don't you just GET VERIFIED! Hope this helps Regards Black_Hand

courier? if iam not mistaken, for sending checks to india, they still send checks using ordinary post. it takes about 30 days to come, still no sureity of whether you will receive it or not. can any clear this for me?
now its clear so can use PP on some monthly restrictions $100-sending $500-withdrawls(Indian- i hav checked it Black_hand) untill the total limit is reached which is $3000 something well one more doubt is master card same as maestro???(hope u know this) thanx Black_Hand ur advice has cleared most of my doubts
well I am also interested to know whether anyone has used ICICI (India) Debit card to verify there paypal account as they have VISA logo. I know that you can not use debit card with maestro logo on it
well i tried a debit card which has visa logo on it(canara bank-indian bank) but PP says that card is denied by the bank.i dont know why so frm u guys,i think that,we cant use maestro card now am thinking of calling the customer care of canara bank and ask whether they know the reason why the card was rejected(may be card number and pin number is wrong)
