There are some people who work with two monitors. It's so lovely to work with BIG screens! Anybody knows how to connect one CPU with two monitors? Do you need some special graphics card?
A lot of the modern graphics card support this, your card basically need 2 DVI slots and you can connect the monitors and have the same picture on both or both monitors displaying like on one big screen, (like that video showed). edit: Those monitos were pretty big, not sure if a lot of GPUs support that kind of resolution.
those monitors were only thirty inches. a medium size graphics card will support them it just won't drive games on them. you need two video outputs of any type. You can have one dvi and one vga if you want. you can even have two cards, each driving one monitor.
If you want to work with two monitors you can buy a monitor switch box or a second video card to connect two SVGA monitors to one computer. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/setup/learnmore/northrup_multimon.mspx Using Multiple Monitors with Windows XP, hope this article will help you.
I'm not really sure. I hooked to regular flat screens to my computer. Right on the side of my flat screen I a usb port. I plug the two same monitors together.
Yes you need a VGA card with 2 DVI slot , or like me 1 use a VGA card with 1 DVI slot and 1 VGA slot witch is plugin into 1 22inch LCD and my normal 17inch CRT monitor.
