so I have the following situation:

a whole section of my website contains recipes. I need to figure out between making a single file for al the recipes (with an index at the top and markers at each recipe) or splitting the content in single file recipes.

What is best for SEO purposes? I can see advantages for both, but not really sure what to do. On one side, a big file wil contain numerous instances of keywords (e.g. 'chicken') and should be more effective in attracting searchers, but on the ther side, many files pointing back to the main index file will reinfirce it, and each page will have more focused keywords.

I would choose the small file version, as it would allow your site to get accessed more. In other words, you will provide lots of doors to your web site from various targeted audience. I hope it make sense.
