One Account rule

I heard awhile back that there was some sort of rule about each individual only having one adsense account. I can totally see the reason for that... however

I have a company with my husband that owns sites that have adsense.

I have a company with my husband and others that owns sites that want adsense

My husband has a site with others that want adsense.

I don't know about the laws of California but where I come from it's a hassle to have one company collecting money for another company and transferring it over, proving the amounts are correct etc.

Is the one account rule still in place (I couldn't see anything in the TOS)?

I have 2 accounts for businesses I am involved in and I manage several other accounts for clients. Google doesn't seem to mind.

I think the is really (or should be, at least) 1 account per tax ID. If all the accounts have a unique tax ID, how could they have a problem?

Incorporate your business to become legal entities. Then you can have/manage multiply adsense accounts.

Yeah, they are already in individual companies. That's a legally distinct entity down here.

The rule is for each EIN number. So if you have different EIN's and the companies are seperate on paper then you can apply for and most likely be accepted to the program for each stand alone business.
