Hello, Once you are in the Top 10 Results on Google what would you do to keep those rankings? Whenever I publish articles I get to Top 100 or 50 within few days... but most of those rankings will drop after few weeks... What should I do? - Minterest
Just do what you did to get there in the first place. To stay on first places is very important that your site or blog is often updated with fresh content and backlinks. Not much, just for google to see and always find new links point to ur site. hope this helps Regards
Stop submitting to directories unless they are specific to your location or industry. Forum posting provides minimum link value and social bookmarking is a complimentary back link source not primary. Create quality promotional content and post them to web 2.0 properties. Take a second article and submit them to article networks that point to your web 2.0 profiles. That would be a start. Is it time consuming? Yes? If you don't have the time, let someone do it for you. We can do this and a lot more for $70 a month for the next two days.
SEO is less about ranking for a specific keyword and more about increasing targeted traffic to your site.
I would continue to add good content, maintain the usual traffic, and make sure that everything is relevant.
To retain top 10 position and push up your site, you'll have to get high quality links. Do some guest posting and keep your social signal up. For the inner pages that are ranking, you can throw some manual bookmarks, and unique web2.0s. Then choose some of your inner pages that is of value, do some guest posts pointing to them. You can also increase social media, video submission and forum posting to deliver more targeted visitors and most of them are no follow and anchor text are not keywords, which is good speaking of link diversity.
