Once Google doesn't like you [anymore] ---> Quality Score

Sometimes Google doesn't seem to like domains of mine anymore, this includes all subdomains belonging to certain domains.

I notice that i achieve FAR BETTER Quality Score if i move sites from certain subdomains of mine to their own .COM. So..it might be worth getting a cheap .com for your sites if you observe QS dropping and move sites away from subdomains.

Thanks for advice. Also, you could get .info domains, they are a bit cheaper then .com

Don't buy .info they tend to have lower CTR. If you can not afford .com + .tv domain adwords is not for you

the problem is...that it is (as far as i observed)...not done with just replacing the URLs in the ads.

First i delete all keywords, then the ad-text. Then i have to re-create the same ad.

This is a P in the a$$ since this can take some time. I had ONE product where i got slapped, but have excellent quality score now on the .COM. And for this product i had a lot of adgroups with variations of keywords...so i have to go thru all this..delete KW...delete AG....recreate Ad....for each adgroup. Takes some time.

I hear people doing this all the time, and it seems to work. I'm just wondering for how long? If you're basically duplicating everything on a different domain, won't it eventually lose it's luster with google?

I have a few domains that google has dropped the quality score on and I don't really feel like buying new domains to temporarily resolve the problem. I'd rather try and fix the domains I have. Of course, from what I'm reading, that can be futile too.

Yeah, I remember following some thread a few months back where somebody went from great to poor and couldn't do anything to get it back to great. So google should really change their little snippet from "increase quality or bid $10" to say "Goodbye, have a nice life".
