    Hi ,

    I suffered a PR loss from PR4 to PR3 ,Recently I bought link from some Relevant websites and This Update even reduced the ranking of those websites from where we bought links .
    Our niche is very competitive (Jewellery) What should I do now

    Everything gets updates there is no question if backlinks did or not...the whole theory of PR is based on that only ..

    30 backlinks is not nearly enough i have over 4000 links and i only have a page rank 3. You need to start building more backlinks.

    The backlink should be the quality and relevant otherwise it will not benefit to your site.And also check weather the content on your site is good and your onpage is done properly or not.These factors also count in ranking and PR of your site.

    Check out...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pagerank if u can follow the explanation there..basically.. the PR of the sites giving you backlinks also matters...

    Its not necessary that if your backlinks increased or decreased your PR also changed.There are lot of factors on which PR has been decided.
