I have a forum that has 3k+ members, but it has sorta died down. What would be your suggestions to getting it to be active once again! I still get new signups but not many posts! Do I need to have contests or refferal contests? What would make you get active on a forum again?
Its a matter of asking yourself this question... whats the incentive? Sounds like there is no incentive of posting because there isn't much activity there. Perhaps, as you suggested, create some type of interesting incentive such as a contest with prizes or simply adding hot topics there yourself if you have a few people checking the forum everyday and just not posting.
