Of course. CS6 has it all. You just have to have the Obama chocolate face open. Then click filter, filter gallery, Uncle Tom cabin, and ok.

You can download at the US Congress, US Senate or the The White House page. It is designed by US Corporate Ltd. ;):)

It should be there! Did you buy your software directly from Adobe? :)

Hey, look at this. The last few days I've been working on creating ghost images.

    I made this today:

I liked it and saved it. Then I thought maybe I should tweak it a little more. First I cropped in closer. Then I hit edit, transform, and perspective. I dragged the lower right bottom out a bit, and there was a face on her chest!! Totally unintentional. Weird huh?

Rebecca, what do you think of the free software Gimp? Is it comparable to the latest Photoshop?

I'm not a graphics designer, but I need to become one fast. I have Photoshop 7 installed, and Gimp 2.8.

I've never used Gimp. I just assumed there are good reasons why so many artists are happy to spend hundreds of dollars to use Adobe Photoshop, while free alternatives exist. I just started a few months ago. I've become obsessed with it. Not a day goes by that I'm not working in Photoshop. As I build up my skill, I'd like to sell on Microlancer and other sites. So, for my purposes, I thought it would be better to just start learning with what is considered to be the best.

It takes time to master Photoshop. I don't think there is a "fast" way. Still, you would be building a foundation for something you can grow with. What you could do is break it down into specific tasks. For example, let's say you want to be great at making Ebook covers. So, study Photoshop tutorials on that one task and practice, practice, practice. Then learn something new and add to your skill set and on.

Hey, I practiced making more ghost pictures yesterday, see...::)

I'm still into making ghost pictures. Later on I'm going to offer custom-made ghost pictures on Fiverr. It's a weird site, so it will probably be a service that will sell there. I can turn anyone into a ghost! LOL. :) I'm already a level 2 seller on there, but am in the process of cancelling that account so I can open a new one with more thought out branding.

This is why Obama believes that what he has the NSA doing is not illegal. Yes, it is against the spirit of the U.S. Constitution and skirts the 14th Amendment's implied "right to privacy" but he believes that technically it is not against the law.

This is what happens when you let lawyers run a country. They are a group for whom the highest art form is the ability to find loopholes and twist words to suit their desires.

For most of us, the law is a codification of basic principles of fairness and justice and protections of freedom. For lawyer politicians, the law is a straightjacket that prevents them from getting what they want.

Do you mean like when Bush administration decided that torture is not torture but making people uncomfortable?

Once Americans accepted the government arguments that there is no need for the rule of law and government can behave in illegal and unethical way by imprisoning, torturing and killing people with the kind of arguments that they are not American, we are doing it outside of the USA,... they actually sealed their own faith. It didn´t take long for the government to come up with the idea that what´s good for the goose is good for the gander and subject Americans to the same kind of treatments.

Why don't you post the proper definition of torture for us?

Why don't you show us some solid proof of those things?

@Gworld: In the days following 9-11-2001, the American people were willing to cut the president a lot of slack to deal with a festering problem. That slack included the usual wartime rules for dealing with POWs that does not include habeas corpus. That slack also included temporary extended information gathering abilities for our intelligence community via the Patriot Act.

11 years and several clear cut abuses of government power later, the excuse of a never-ending war on a non-nation state has worn thin. All we need is a perpetual state of war/fear to abolish all civil rights altogether.

Only Nixon could go to China.
Only Obama could destroy civil rights.

Read my posts from many years ago. I posted about never-ending state of war about 7-8 years ago. There is nothing new under the sun, never-ending state of war is the excuse used by the government in the George Orwell book, 1984. We were about 20 years late but we have reached 1984.

Sometimes the stupidity is unbelievable. How can someone believe that the Bush administration lies about torture not being defined was real?

I had to post in observation of the first like I believe I have ever given to one of GWorld's posts. The Orwellian comparisons have been coming out of the woodwork, and for good reason IMO. Not just 1984 either. I used to think Animal Farm was a book about communist Russia, not the US, but apparently, today, some animals are more equal than others.

    Perpetual War - Check
Government Surveillance of every move we make - Check
Redefinition of words/Modification of language to change meaning - Check

All we need are reeducation camps to deal with the wrong headed members of the "flat earth society", and we will have arrived.

The animal farm was against State Capitalism system in Russia and not communism because in the first years of the Russian revolution, the real Marxists saw how the revolution was hijacked by Lenin and his group and many of them lost their lives fighting it. Have you ever wondered why a socialist like Orwell should write books like 1984 or Animal farm to criticize Socialism which he was his ideology? The answer should be obvious by now, he wasn´t criticizing Socialism and Marxism but the name being hijacked by Lenin to establish state capitalism.

This is a thread I started in 2007, unfortunate people could not see the danger of the things to come at that time.

Are you really this stupid? The definition is quoted in the same post that you have replied to. This is not about you and I, this is a definition by an international organization and a treaty that USA as country has signed on.

In other words, Orwell wanted a government big enough to take care of everyone and enforce rules of "socialist" universal justice, but not have that government be a corrupt, brutal, oppressive dictatorship. Its like asking for a wife who is at once a super model, CEO of a fortune 500 company, and is happy to clean your toilets on a daily basis. Certain characteristics go together. Others don't. Too bad Orwell was too idealistic to see that.

Quoting yourself from years gone by? That must have brought you great pleasure. You too seem to have an idealistic view of America. The America of 30-40 years ago burned Dresden to the ground, men, women, and children included. The America of 30-40 years ago dropped nuclear weapons on two civilian targets. The America of 30-40 years ago rounded up red blooded Americans of Japanese descent and put them into concentration camps. The America of 30-40 years ago treated war like war and peace like peace, and when we were at war, we fought with intent to win.

If we were the America of 30-40 years ago, Afghanistan might very well be glass parking lot, and Pakistan too. There would be no chanting Muslims because they would have been rounded up, and perhaps ejected from the country the way Jews were ejected from practically every Islamic country. There would be no Gitmo because those people would have been interrogated/lost on the battlefield. We sure as hell wouldn't be on year 12 of a military engagement, considering our role in WWII only lasted 5.

Most importantly, we would not be digging through grandma's depends/colostomy bag as she tries to board an airplane while ignoring Maj. Nadal Hassan, as he communicates regularly with Anwar Al'Alawki. We would not be capturing every communication from every American to every other American. Our government's response to being punched seems to be "Lets punch ourselves in the face".

As usual you missed the point. I wasn´t talking about what the government did or did not do. I was talking about American culture and attitude. Nixon was not the only crook politician (not even the worst) but the Watergate ended his presidency. Reagan was not the only gun smuggler or a drug dealer in the presidency but there was the Iran-contra scandal. In today´s USA, Watergate or Iran-Contra case will not even raise an eyebrow and it is just business as usual.
Can you mention one Hollywood movie that Gary Cooper, John Wayne, Kirk Douglas,.... were torturing the prisoners of wars by the order of US government? In today´s movies the American hero is a psycho torturer that is involved in all kinds of war crimes with the full support of the CIA, Pentagon and sometimes even the president.
