On top of Google every time!!!

    I have a finance blog, every time I change the title I get on top for the exact phrase (I was once on top of 19mil), This is the one now:

    Finance & Money Making

    Now I am going to change it to a really good keyword to see what happens, any suggestions?

    Do that many people really search for Viagra?

    It was a joke.

    a) Your not first without the quotes.
    b) Your probably ranking because of new content boost
    c) Change the subject your page will drop, probably wont appear for that subject at all.
    d) Yes, viagra does get searched alot.

    Who would use "keywords" for search and looking for infomation?

    I would, If I wanted Personal Finance articles I would search for "Personal Finance" If I searched just normally it would come up with a whole heap of Personal crap...

    But thats only you. Normal users search just keywords and no ""....you might want to try to reach normal users and not only yourself..:rolleyes:

    few people will have it exactly with "", thus it is not a great thing. The site should be optimised correctly to hit the fist search result.

    True most people do not use "" when searching.

    However, there has been a few examples on the BBC actually advocating using "" when searching as it does provide better results for what you are searching for.

    Hardly anyone uses quotes in a search - try the word Sex and see where you end up .
