On the subject of fraud clicks. Why doesn't Google...

allow advertisers to filter out impressions based on user IP address? I just signed up to Adwords and have tons of suspect clicks but no hard proof. So if I could submit a list of IP addresses & subnets that I don't want my ads shown to, then heck, I'd feel a lot better.

I would also filter out IP's which appear on proxy lists. I just don't want my ads shown to anyone using those IP's, it's my choice. I don't care if they could be legit, it's my money right?

Best thing, we could share our list of IP's and this would be a serious blow to fraudsters (and Google's pocket too).

Yes, I just noticed the option under Tools. This is great! Now, does anyone have a list of suspect/fraudster IP's they can share??

In Windows Vista using IPV6 and a IPV6 compatible browser, same PC can have millions of IP addresses.

Ahhhh.. so we can only enter up to 20 IP's. This seriously limits the potential of the IP exclusion feature :( Even with wildcards it's very limited.

Yes, I know this wouldn't be a full proof solution anyways but I think it would really help.

If you use adwords in size you might consider signing up
for some clickfraud software. I use adwatcher and it can target individual IP's to see who is clicking on your ads over and over.

As S&P said, even with Google's proprietary tool, there are several third-party programs such as AdWatcher or WhosClickingWho that allow you greater flexibility when it comes to IP tracking and fraud prevention.
