Would you say that being on the first page of Google (.com [Ain't checked .co.uk yet]) for a single four letter word be good enough in SEO terms? I get 79,900,000 results on Google when searching for Dale, however I'm at the bottom of the first page. Struggling to overtake anything about Dale Jr. or Dale Howard (UK Big Bro Winner). My stats show a little bit of traffic coming through from Google but you know, I wanna be greedy and have more.
It depends by what you mean as 'good enough'. Since 'Dale' is not a very competitive search term, it likely didn't take much effort to get to the bottom of the first page. It is still an accomplishment to get on the first page, especially for a short one word phrase.
