I have compiled a small list of positive, negative and not important factors. This list is based on my SEO experiment with another blog and generally word of mouth.

    Your opinions appreciated :)

P.S - Dont expect any google killer tactics from that article :D

I think sometimes keywords in meta tags too help, what in your article is said as not considering factor.

I told about meta description tags that aren't helpful, but keyword tags are listed as positive.

Yep. The idea was that more then 15% is clear penalization. Usually recommended is less then 4%.

    Hi,
Nice list but i think Stuffing your content with your keyword, under 7% is good 15% is more penalization.

Yep, that's what I meant. I don't encourage stuffing your keyword up to 15%.

Good list there. Agree with most (15% too high). To be honest, I think off page is around 80% of the battle....regards Allen

I will soon post an off-page SEO checklist, but I agree with you, off-page counts the most.

I agree with some of the checklist, although i do think that 15% keyword density is far too high and have seen good results from around 4%-6%

I personally think the description tag is useful

Nice tips. However, 15% is far too much. Some time ago I made and experiment to roll my density over 10%. The website was demoted to the very bottom and returned back to the good positions after I decreased keyword density to 6%.

Anyways, I don't think density has too much of an influence. For example, I got a jewellery site in Google #3 for my main keyword with density of %1.25 :D Here you are!!!
