You can't really ask which is better... some on-page SEO techniques are much better than off-page techniques and vice versa... also you need to use both to master online marketing... so there's really no need to compare them...

    Hope this helps...

on page seo is vital you need your keywords in the pages in titles descriptions an content!!!

off page seo is probably more important if your site has okish titles and text. Your not guna get a site ranked for, lets say, pine beds, if your title doesnt say so.

look at your site, if it has generic titles, you need to do onpage, if it has keyword titles, then do offsite!

Offpage is the most important, but it depends on proper anchor text of link and that should also reflect in your Page Title (That is what you have done in OnPage)

Based on my experience, off-page weighs heavier in search engine results. It can stand alone even though a site is not optimized on-page. Anyway, the combination of the two will be your way to the top. :D

as per my experience mainly on page factor affects a lot to website... if you don't have on page clear for your website than its not possible to get ranked in SE with high competition website......

If you do well on your on-page optimization, it will really be a big help when you start your off-page optimization. So I suggest that you should do well on both.

So many replies, and pretty much nobody reading the original post before doing so. He already knows that both are important - he asked which is more. In answer to the question, its absolutely off-page.
