On page optmisation

    Hi

    I'm using my keyword within anchor text on my hyperlinks in my articles, can anyone suggest how many of that same keyword i should but into an article of around 500 words.

    Plus i'm a bit unsure of some of the on page SEO elements and the best places to put the words.

    Alt tags etc
    How many in contact
    Do i name the file as the keyword etc

    Any tips and guidance well accepted

    If these are articles for directories they are pretty strict about keyword density. I believe ezinearticles requires under 3% density. For my sites I tend to do 3-9% keyword density but I don't stress on it.

    i read in most articles they say keywords density should be lower then 5 percent..
    i take it like this.
    if i am marketing about something and i repeat its name again and again. i.e 20 times. it dont put a good impression..on my target..

    first i must tell the feasibility of that product then i must use its name when its necessary , not more then five times....so if i use that name more then 5 times, my marketing strategy will be failed...same like that search engine also give it a consideration.

    so i must not keep repeating on and on the the name of product (keyword) ...rather then its function and other things related to it...lols i know my english is poor but maybe some one explian what i am trying to talk here.

    Keyword density should be about 3 to 7% any more and it's keyword stuffing

    But it really is not about the number of keywords you have but where those keywords are that makes all the difference

    You mention the importance of where these keywords are that's important, can you explain a little bit more.

    Do you mean the first sentence of the artice, title of article and within the resource box, any further information highly appreciated.

    Writing articles in ezinearticle is more critical compared to other article directories. Ezinearticle imposes several restrictions on ur writing & publishing articles. So, you must be careful to write there. Ideally 3% keyword density is good for SEO as well as ezine. Using more keywords can search engines issue flag for ur article for spamming. So far I know ezinearticles also measure this criteria.
