As others are already mentioned about all on-page factors already. I would advice you about the important on-page elements. 1. Title - This one is the most important factor. You should always write a title for human being read and not just a stuffing of keywords. Please be noted - This tag should be created with most careful. Any change you made on this tag later could shaking your rank for a period of time before back to stable again. 2. Header - Everything at your site header should have your primary keywords contained. You may consider to use H1 H2 tag to boost up for certain keyword but not overdone on it. 3. Meta Description - Has only little effect on your ranking but you should write compelling to attract visitor instead of bots only. Because this tag usually being used to show in your search result listing in most search engines. 4. Meta Keyword - Has no effect on Google but has some on Yahoo and Bing. Do proper with this tag won't help you in Google at all, but spam on this tag could give you a pain in the ass for Google. Careful. Put only keywords that exist on the page content to be safe. 5. Main content - No keyword stuffing or too much repetitive or your site would be penalized by Google somehow.
