I have this nice little niche site, it hasn't made me a lot of money recently after the Panda update I dropped from #1 to page two. A competitor came in and claimed the #1 spot. I've sat at number 8 for a long time now, really just giving up on the website. It's not huge traffic but when it was at #1 it was a good $10 a day revenue, I'm talking about the big G of course. 1,300 local searches, 3600 global, $2.11 CPC After a couple of months at # 8 I decide I'm tired of seeing it at #8 last week. I start taking 1 page or blog post a day and updating the on page SEO. My website has now jumped to #4 from # 8 after 7 straight days of this. No backlinking has happened at all. I'm done being lazy with my onpage SEO. Http://www.pkaffairs.com
That's great to hear! You should constantly sweep your sites for quality checks and get rid of the low quality content on them. Update articles that are older, and backlinks won't hurt - get some backlinks to the site and I'm sure you will be back at #1 in no time.
This was your back stage support and last time hard work for your website that was good news for you but don't determined on this keep it your work hard. Then get lots of money.
That’s great news. Most people forget about contents and on-page SEO. They totally focus on link building. On-page SEO can make big difference in raking.
Ya agree on page seo is must for present sites. as compitition is increasing everyday and even cat's and fish also have websites now a days so to survive as a human in this world is little bit difficult .
Nice one, but knocking another 4 pages off is the harder part. I've found I can rank long tail pages on page 2 with just on page SEO but then struggled to get them onto page one in a similar amount of time with building links.
If you add 1 post a day you should definitely see your page rank increase. You might want to use pingers after you post too this might help.
May be you have made some major changes or updates on your website. So your website jump from 8 to 4 rank.
