Do i need to make unique Title and Description for all of my web pages? Can i copy terms and condition, privacy policy and Cookie Use policy from another website and put it on my website? or do i have to write my own unique content? I did put 4 press releases on my website and many bloggers copied it to their own website. Will it hurt my website?
Yes There are free generators for these online, you just add your site name/url and it creates it. No these do not need to be unique. Press Releases are meant to be shared/syndicated on multiple sites. Make sure they leave the links intact and don't alter your release. No this will not hurt your site.
if you want to create your own rules then you can change your terms and guidelines otherwise no need to change.
1. Yes 2. You can, yes; you should, no. 3. That's a case of duplicated content, so the answer depends: if your site was indexed before they copied you, then it will not hurt you. If they were indexed before you, then the answer changes to it may hurt you.
It is necessary to make all of the title and descriptions of every pages of your site unique. Not just for SEO purpose but also for its own identity. You cannot copy but you can get an idea from it and create your own.
This is not true, there's only so many ways to explain "legal terms" and there's over 50 million websites online. "Legal terms" must be specifically written a certain way to hold up in a court of law. It's not an article where you go re-writing crap to look unique. Google, Yahoo, Bing are not stupid and realize pages like this, nor does anyone try to rank a Privacy Policy/TOS/etc pages. A "cookies disclaimer" is just that, no need to try and sound like an Attorney and reinvent the laws so your little page will be unique.
Unique content stands more of a chance of ranking, because well, it's unique to your site. That said, it's fine for pages like your TOS/privacy not to be unique. These pages are for your visitors, you're not trying to rank these pages.
I keep the title of each page/post unique. While posting, I keep the Meta description different for each page that is all. It helps, mostly with appearance in search results.
Yes, you will need to write your content and they MUST BE UNIQUE for each page. Otherwise, they will be bad practice for your SEO website. You will surely need to think and write your pages. Don't use another website's content, they are really harmful for any website. For On page SEO, You will need to write UNIQUE META TITLE & DESCRIPTION.
33-35 characters for best practices in meta title and 150-155 characters for best practices in meta description.must put your keyword in title, description and try to put it(keyword) in first word.
This your first post on this site. How do you know these things? Do you have proof from other sites you can quote? Or your own experience that you can share? In response to the post: Yes, each page needs to have its own unique Title and Description. You can copy Terms and Agreements, Conditions, Whatever. As long as your content was posted before the others, it should be fine and not hurt you. It could possibly be a problem if you posted after them though. Godd Luck to You
