I have been talking to, and very much enjoyed the discussions with a brand new company, who i shall be more than happy working with in conjuction with my company, however... they have launched/started a couple of lovely looking websites, and have asked me if i know of where to get quality feedback from on the net......HERE!! They have two sites i would apprieciate feedback on if i may ask....I will also forward comments to them, so they can then instruct myself or register in order to talk through any words you may have for them. Website: www.movenanny.com Website: www.landlordnanny.com (can you see the theme here!! lol) All feedback greatfully received, thank you.
Now there... Movenanny The title doesn't work! It has two lines and reading the first line I get "MoveNanny, your FREE online survival resource for buying," What I think (if I am a visitor), I am not interested in buying, good bye!!! The site is about relocation, so base the marketing pitch around relocation! It should be obvious it is about relocation the very first moment I land on the site. At the moment it is not. I have to scroll back and forth just to get the idea what is it all about. Separate partners with a vertical line - they are too much in the way. This site is intended to sell its services, it seems that the only purpose being online now is promoting partners. A nanny should be more fun. Who made the logo? Get somebody to draw a nanny. Have you seen Confused.com logo? For me it is too wacky, but, yeah it is fun and it works. This logo does not! I tested it on loadchecker and the page is 350 kb. It is heavy - are there ways to make it lighter? Landlordnanny, The left navigation's a mess! There are three sections, right? Your Account, Main Navigation and Your Props should stand out, they need an embossed/coloured background or something similar. Frequently asked questions should be F.A.Q., FAQ or FAQs because faqs looks too much like fags - it looks odd to see it on a corporate/dynamic style website. What's the difference between "News and updates" and "News"? Why keeping them both? Partners section is not good. This grey thing looks like a part of the organizer widget. Now these were bad things, now about the good things The ideas are quite good, it is something new and fresh. The site designs are clean and modern only needs fixing some minor flaws and a new logo. Good luck!
