How long did it take you to start making any money? Like when you first started your site at what rate did your page impressions and clicks rise?
That question is too open. You can make money 15 minutes after adding adsense if you have traffic. I had an established site with organic traffic and it started at about $200 per month. Other sites started from zero since they were new and grew with both organic and PPC traffic. It's all a function of traffic and how good your niche and site are.
well if its a new site then you need to wait for all the search engines (just google really) to crawl and index your site before you will get any visitors. This can take upto 6 months if you are very unlucky but usually is done within a month. You can speed this process up by placing a link to your site anywhere on the internet (forums, other sites, directories). But if you have a site that isnt worth visiting then you will never make any money.
tbarr pretty much says it the way it is. The beginning of website building will be a learning experience, but eventually you'll hit on a system that will work for driving traffic with both ppc and organicly. I'm almost up to 200 a month on one of my websites and it's been about 3 months of work so far.
It will depend on your experience, topic and traffic. It took me over a month to make my first buck, couple of months to make my first 10 and so on. Right now I have been taking in over $15 for the past several months. I should make the first $100 by years end. Course I have launched 3 sites in 3 different areas in the past 10 months. Unfortunately I believe my sites are ones which there is little to no interest in.
Depends on how much you work. You can't start making the big bucks when you never work on your site. If you have good content and advertise daily then your site will get out there and the revenue will slowly start to increase as you go.
one site took 10 minutes others took months, other took weeks and others days. After having adsense for years only recently have I concentrated on them and have now got to a point where I make regularly $5 a day and am working to increase that now
This is from a post I did in my blog a few days ago--how steady growth starts slow but grows quickly. "If you want to make $100/day from your website with AdSense and affiliate links, all you have to do is start small and slowly grow. If you double your average daily income every month, you can be making US$3000 a month in 12 months' time. 12-MONTH PLAN (month - $avg/day) ------------------------------------------- 1 - $.05 2 - $.10 3 - $.20 4 - $.40 5 - $.80 6 - $1.60 7 - $3.20 8 - $6.40 9 - $12.80 10 - $25.60 11 - $51.20 12 - $102.40 Cool huh? Looks like sloooooooow going at first right? If you are 7 months in, and still only earning about $3 a day, you might get discouraged." It's a bit simplistic, but it shows that if you're not making a million dollars right away, no problem!
actually that is an awesome break down because 3 months actually really promoting my adsense and I am from 0 average to $4 ish so if I can keep the trend going I will be there..... w00t
I am only a few weeks and there are times that I get disappointed. But I know it works that way. No one gets it right the first time I guess.
Wow those stats are impressive, so far I got no much of traffic while working on my website for about 3 months
Its how quich you get your site traffic, if you have traffic from day you youll start earning from day one.
I'm guessing he's asking about a new website ... got no real answer for that ... it depends on the website's subject i guess and how hard you work on getting trafic. Entertainment websites might be easier to bring people to ... but they get paid pennies .... higher paying websites might be harder to bring traffic....and it can take months before you start getting ranked for better keywords in google. Read the DP forums and you'll see many great advices and the experience of others ... read the Marketing forum here on DP also ... can give u some hints on ways to bring people to your website.
The more your site get older and the more you take care of it and take care of the ad placment is the more you make , no matter if your site idea is unique or not ...
first couple of weeks are difficult. there is a lot of learning to do and alot of effort if you have patience and work hard towards you will surly succeed. for me it was zero revenue for the first 6 months.
It all depends on the type of site and how you advertise it. One of my sites is making $20 a day within a week of being up and I worked on it for maybe 4 hours tops (advertising, actual content, etc) But my other site is making like $1 a day after months of work and tons of link exchanges. All depends on the site and the way you advertise.
yea that's right .... but do you know something, I started to earn more then that when I used traffic exchange ...
