    Is omguk worth joining?
    http://www.omguk.com/
Looks like affiliate thing but supposed to be serving YPN ads.

yeah, its worth joining, just to see what adds you get.

My websites are too niche, and the adds a bit vague - so my ctr is appaling

You may find the adds match your niche better - depending on your site

Worth having a block just to keep an eye on it though - i'm sure as ypn approaches general release, these adds will get more targetted

ypn pays them, they pay you (minus their cut of course)

i would think that after they take their cut, your payout will be similar to adsense (depends on the niche i guess). it may be worth it, it may not be worth it. is it worth a test? everything is worth testing. if i never tested ypns beta system i would still be with adsense making nothing.

i think i remember reading that they only want UK traffic though. i may be wrong there. im sure its all laid out on their site for anyone to read.

To join or not to join That is the question.

If YPN release worldwide then we sign up with no middle geezer.

when they go worldwide, you will be able to apply for your own account. then, YOU cut out the middleman.

Yeah the irony is they only want UK traffic, and 80%+ of my traffic is US, only about 5% UK.

Reverse of the actual YPN situation. If I was American I think i'd be raking it in.

You don't get paid for non-uk traffic.

Theres no harm or cost in joining - give it a try, theres nothing to loose except half an hour of your time. Just like any other affiliate. And I guess the more UK members that join, the sooner they will get advertisers, and the sooner it will be launched properly in the UK

You never know how long it will take before YPN come out of beta - perhaps as the ads become more relevant to my site, or they will start to allow US clicks. Then my earnings will increase. So far they are effectively £0

Maybe its better to wait and use another adsense type like adengage?
I want to put adsense type context ads on free site I already have Ckickbooth affil type ads.
