OMG what a crash in F1

If all he got was a broken leg then it's a testament to to leaps and bounds safety has taken in the design of the cars.

Yea, I love watching F1, and I saw this crash live. It was quite terrible. They wouldn't camera the extraction of him, so I didn't know how he was doing until the commentator mentioned him for a few seconds.

Fail.

But, it makes you think: F1 cars are incredibly safe if it ever experiences a crash. The sport itself isn't that safe, but the cars are.

 

This was exactly my point. What a nasty crash and really only broken leg...
