so how much unique visitors per day does ur myspace get? And i have about 400backlinks already and they're increasing at about 10 per day.

 

40+ forums,can u share the list of forums?

 

good for you man, but you can get the same results and targeted traffic from 1 active forum but you have also to be more active and you have to post more.

traffic is not all that important if you are not making money.

Is this most effective use of time? I mean, sure it brings some cheap traffic but you must be posting non-stop if you're active in 40 forums...

 

A lot of forums don't permit links until after a certain post mark...

forum signature has unbelieveable power. they bring search engine spiders and real visitors to your site

 

they don't have to be super huge drawn out posts...just something to make you SEEM active...

seeming to be active is the main keyword there...just enough to get them to believe you're there legitimately...

though I start to do this stuff...and find myself actually being active in the community...but that's just me...I love to post as you'll see here ...i can keep going for days on end...I love to write...so this is one of the better techniques for me...

But yeah, to get back on topic (sorry I rambled there...lol) as long as you are making decent posts (1 to 2 sentences)...it should take you that long per forum per day...

think of it this day...post 5-10 posts on 2 forums per day...that's 300-600 backlinks from 60 sites in a month...and 10-20 posts per day should be that hard...specially when it involves 2 different forums where you could post similar things...(note: not the SAME things...but similar things )

I am actually going to make a list of the 40 forums that i am currently signed up with and i'm going to sell it. )))).It took me like a whole month with about 5 hours a day to find all these forums,so i'm not gona give it away for free. i'm selling them.
All the forums i am signed up to require NO minimum posting requirement before you can use the signature and most forums have at least 50 people online at a time. the maximum online would be about 1000.
I'll have this list done in about 2 days cuz i'm adding other stuff that i'm gona sell in the list like Contacts to submit a news tip too if you have a new internet/technology website etc,and also i'm gona list all the social networking site that WORK and all the article site that WORK,because so many article site lists are outdated. I haven't figured out a price for all of this yet but i'll probably sell it for US$40,which i think is pretty reasonable for all of this.

How long does it take you posting in 40 forums for $15-$30 per month in sales? Your time could be better spent elsewhere, don't you think?

 

I think he means per link, seeing he has 4 links that would be 440$ but I doubt anyone is actually paying that much for sig links.

 

Yes, forums does work, but there are advantages and disadvantages with both systems.

For example,

1. The traffic from forums is targetted depending where you post and how good your posts are.

2. Once you have posted in about 40 forums you will then find that the amount of traffic you are getting from the first forum that you posted in has practically stopped or decreased dramatically because your posts have gone deeper down into the site.

3. Once you link exchange your sites link is likely to stay in a good position for sometime whereas the forum sigs will always get embedded deeper down into the forums pages and then nobody will end up seeing them.

So forums does work, but they are not the best way of getting continous traffic.

because the old threads and posts important form of knowledge so When a user searches something it will come up in Google rankings

So they may get traffic!

 

Yes that is true, but quite alot of the older threads and posts get put into Google's supplemental results and some will even probably get dropped from their search results altogether. This is because they probably will loose their backlinks as time goes by and because they are much deeper down into the site they may not look so important to google compared to the pages that are about 2 - 3 clickable links deep down into the site.

 

well i have just narrowed the list of the 40+forums i joined into 17 forums with 566,500+members for all forums with no min. posting requirement before u can have a signature.
I am selling this list in the buy/sell/trade forum right now.
