OMG!!!! I'm New To Adwords. I owe $3,000 in Adwords

Thats what I gathered.

 

Thats what i want to do. I want to start a forum. A homeboy of mine started a forum a few years back, now it has tons of traffic .All he does is drops a link to his site and his adsense money comes in. Everytime I drop a link in a directory, it gets deleted and my adsense account still reads $0.

 

Would you mind telling us your friend's forum url?

 

For sure, I suspect a quick look at this "ebook" would be very entertaining. I wonder how much it costs, where it was sold, etc. It sounds like a bunch of garbage thrown together to make a quick buck.

That or the OP did the exact opposite of what was suggested.

Adwords are a way to make a good campaign "possibly" great. Not for someone plugging a blog site, or looking to generate their first stream of traffic to a new site.

 

You should also research and learn how to use something that requires your own money from the bank, instead of just using it. Things like this happen when you just jump into it. Set daily limits next time or use a different service.

How did you run up such a bill ? surely you must have added money first and knew what you spend would be.

 

No offense man, but you SERIOUSLY need to do some REAL PPC training before you do this again. Ouch!

 

Dude this is like reading "I lost 3000$ last night in poker when I was drunk" kind of thread. Why what were you thinking? $4000! Man you've couldve invested that in so many different business models and made profit, and you instead paid it to google so that people come and click on ADSENSE?

I'm either going mad or DP is freaking going crazy, or both. Man send me a PM and I can offer you a partnership on a couple of projects I want to start (but dont have spare change for that!). If you can invest and want to move away from adsense adwords madness that is.

 

Man, that such a big amount... don't believe everything you read from get rich quick thru adwords ebooks... investigate first and read from other sources.. ebook was meant to sell stuff.... and you bought it.

 

This meant for the publisher, the one running with Adsense. You are not supposed to be both an advertiser and a publisher at the same time. This is the reason publishers choose high paying clicks so that they can make more money. Advertisers pay more but they get it back when they made a sale of their products.

You have completely misunderstand the statement.

 

I have been using Adwords for about 4 months now for a recently launched school furniture eCommerce site. I'm am definitely not as well versed as some of the people commenting above, but styles3000 one thing i have learned is, you should really read ALL of the Google help files and ease your way into it. It sounds like you jumped right in and i feel for ya! I took it slow, started with small campaigns, and about a $150.00/ month budget. I received several sales from it, without going overboard. You have to constantly research your keywords (daily), try different ads for the same keywords, and download the AdWords Editor software as it comes in real handy for tracking keyword cpc costs. Am i correct in thinking that your said above, you were only targeting 1 keyword. I would definitely research more. Again, i'm not an expert, just offering some friendly advice.

Also, find the Web CEO software thread on here, as it may come in handy and it's FREE.

You can put a daily spend limit, and then pause whenever you don't want your ads to run.

 

Paying Adwords for $45 a click?

 

For the websites having those clicks, this is like a windfall.

many webmaster boykot adwords and use similar services like http://froggyads.com - they are cheaper and you can still buy the same adwords traffic via their Adwords sources 50% cheaper

 

Dont mind on me but you acted like a child .You dont think if it was so easy to make money with adwords majority of people would be milionaire ? You acted like a child .you must learn the process

 

I have not put any money in AdWords simply using Google AdWords for keyword search
