OMG! Click Fraud site gets positive press in popular UK Paper!

I really don't believe this. It's so disgusting I really can't articulate my thoughts on the matter. This guy's story is in The Metro - one of the most popular papers in the UK (it's free!). The story presents him in a positive light.

So he's encouraging visitors to click his ads? Wow that is major click fraud. Anyone have the report link so I can report him.

You carry the Metro with you? Isn't it just for reading whilst you're on the bus? It's hardly great material.

The Metro is great! I read it on tube on my daily commute. And then finish it during my mid morning tea break.

Oh - this is off topic, but if you want some free tea bags for your morning tea try this:

Be glad. It's full of people, like the owner of that site, who believe that the world owes them a favour.

I give it a few hours before he's banned, Google's UK HQ is in London and everybody in London reads the Metro on the way to work. I bet it was the first talking point this morning in the office.

He will get owned by his stupidity. You would think clickfrauders would want to keep their operations on the down low.

The Metro tend to pick up on the office email/viral marketing side of things as the vast majority of it's readers work in offices.

If you read his site carefully, you'll see that he never asks for ad clicks and never draws undue attention to the ads. He simply cites facts about mouse usage and says, "If you've helped me out, drop me an email with your name and I'll post it..."

It looks like he may escape on a technicality.

Was just going to say that, and if he gets away with it he might actually make money too. A lot of people make money with garbage websites because others are idiots.
