    You mean the ads aren't changed like everyone elses have recently?

    Why wouuld having a premium account make their ads clickable area larger than a non premium account?

    off topic@OP: Nice blog about adsense is dead, they let their competition run them over the coals, huh?

    This is what I see when I do a view | source. I'm not familiar with all these parameters.. are they for premium accounts only? Do you think I could try them with my regular adsense account?

    <script language="JavaScript"><!--
    google_ad_client = 'ca-gumtree-com_js';
    google_ad_channel = 'london';
    google_ad_output = 'js';
    google_ad_type = 'text',
    google_hints = 'classifieds flatshare jobs london';
    google_max_num_ads = '5';
    AFC_index_start = 0;
    AFC_index_end = 5;
    google_language = 'en';
    google_encoding = 'latin1';
    google_safe = 'high';
    // --></script><script language="JavaScript"
    src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js"></script>

    http://labnol.blogspot.com <== Even he's a premium publisher but that's not the case with him at all. The clickable area of his ads has changed like everyone else's. So what makes this site so special ?

    Thank you, JoyGoRound ! :D

    The description of the ads is also clickable which is just like the old way of adsense. Right now the only clickable part of the adsense is the link itself.

    http://www.gumtree.com/ has an alexa ranking of 1,092.

    What makes you think this isn't a premium account? With an alexa ranking that low, it's obvious it is.

    Premium publishers have way more control over HOW their ads are produced on their sites, they also get to hassle google over their % per click they receive.

    I suggest you do a search on google for "google adsense premium account" if you don't know about it.

    They have to be a premium publisher. I wouldn't mess with your own code. You'll get banned for sure :p
