    So I checked the few sites I've been working REALLY hard on, busting my balls with content and backlinks. All my sites were PR 0's except my couple year old home page that was a 2. They all went to PR3's thru 1's.

    Well, I setup a free phpBB forum hosting service, only have a few of my friends with their sites. Anyways, I think I submitted it to 3 or 4 directories... bet you know where I'm going with this... well one of them was the DMOZ.

    My home page, and ALL sub pages are PR4. I'm at a loss for words. If you can hear me oh DMOZ Gods, thank you.

    So, umm, anybody want to sign up for a phpBB forum? :D

    Decant forums will get added to DMOZ quickly. especially if they are niche forums.

    it's not a forum though, it's a forum hosting service. I've got 3 (one very good) forum still waiting :/

    The reason I say that is because if you have a niche forum, that gets a good reputation, the editor will get to hear about it, visit it, and then add it to their category. I am not suggesting that if you submit it then it will get special treatment.
