Oldest .COM Domains on earth

http://www.Tandy.com is down, but, that have a page that looks like it hasn't changed since 1984 at http://support.tandy.com/

 

I'm assuming they bought directly from ICANN seeing as probably only a handful of domains were registered per year at that time. Probably at an insane cost to, like $1000.

But if ICANN had their way thats what the cost would be today.

Isn't that impossible, since the first domain only came up in 1985?

 

Same year that back to the future came out. Coincidence? I think not.

 

They probably designed the page
http://support.tandy.com/ in 1984 and uploaded it later in 1985
