I used that service almost daily, but it isn't the same anymore. Does anybody know about a similar service? What I liked most and that isn't available anymore was the layout and the status of various extensions all on the same page and line. Thanks!
How has it changed? Going to whois.sc/digitalpoint.com gives me the same information that it always did, albeit with a slightly different design. You can still see the status of various extensions on the same page. The new service seems a bit slower, but other than that I haven't noticed a difference in the information presented, and they've been sensible enough to setup redirects where appropriate.
Hi there! I am actually talking about the domain monitor. It used to show all extensions in an easy to read layout with a great colour code.
The new layout for the domain monitoring tool looks good to me, I don't actually understand what you don't like about it Anyway, I don't know of any other free service like it, since whois.sc/domaintools is already very good enough for me.
Thanks for your time guys. Anyway, in the old domain monitor panel, I could view details about the domain I was monitoring plus if other extensions were registered, if they ever were registered, if the domain was active, a redirect, etc. You can't see that now, only about the specific and only domain monitored. I hope that made things clearer...
Yes i miss that service also and have stopped using whois.sc now a days cause of the bulky design. Some things are meant to be simple some are not.
^ i agree the guy(s) that run whois.sc/domaintools are always looking to improve their site and welcome suggestions + feedback i like the new layout
Yeah the changes will take some getting used to but it is still an excellent service, though the new pricing structure has increased considerably. You may want to check this site out. I have used it along with whois.sc and it has some excellent tools. (Nope, it's not mine). http://www.freewho.com
Yes, it's definetely still an excellent service, no doubt about that. I used freewho before, I'll check it out again as I don't exactly remember what it's like anymore. Thanks, great help!
