Old site in sandbox?

Hi, I have recently uploaded a new version of my site after it had been parked for about a year.

I'm showing well in yahoo and msn etc but the usual frustration with Mr. G.

Would i be in a sandbox even though it is an old domain?

The homepage is in the index and listed as the my new page.

    Interestingly though when i do a site:www.thanks-a-bunch.co.uk
apart from my homepage the rest of the pages in the index don't exist any more and haven't done for at least a year.

    So my question is:

    A) how do i get my new pages in the index

    B) how long would i be in the sandbox for?

    thanks

    Simon

The age of the domain is irrelevant, its the time its been indexed in google and most importantly the age of the backlinks.

Build some fresh links to the site and submit a site map to google/yahoo. Make sure you 301 redirect the old pages to the new pages.

I have a few hundred fresh links showing in yahoo, it just seems wierd that some of the old pages are still in the index whilst the new ones don't show at all (apart from the homepage).

Have you changed up to whois info? If you change or if it looks like ownership changed you might be labeled as a new domain.

How fast did you put up the new links? You don't want to go over 10% of total for month, or if you put up alot fast you better keep putting them up at that rate or it will not look natural.

well it has been a bit quicker than that as 10% of not alot is still not alot.

300 links in a month i'd say. Mainly directories and relevent sites, just natural advertising really.

I have a Pr4 still so things can't be all bad
