I have noticed that for the past few days when I search for certain things really old results come up; like stuff I was dealing with 6 months ago and has since been changed and is no one the same as it was then. How long do you think till this is over? Plus I like the stuff google had before when you checked for a .com name, where you could see how many sites contained a certain term...I hope they will be bringing that back.
They claim at the end of Sept but Matt Cutts said in his recent video they cant make a promise, so throw in another couple of months.
Do you know how to ask Matt a question? He has like a million comments on his blog so I don't want to leave one there.
Google recently relisted pages of my site I deleted over 6 months ago and have not been indexed since So it takes them 6+ weeks to fix it if it actually does get fixed since this is not the first time it has happened.
To be honest I dont have a clue. I am not sure that he is answering emails or peoples comments when he makes those videos. You would think they have learned their lesson from previous screw-ups but in saying that the only people who really notice these screw-ups or care is us site owners. As long as Google doesnt loose a large % of their search users it isnt really a priority for them IMHO.
I am seeing more and more web designers leave Google for another search engine, I personally have started using Yahoo again. Where is Surch.com pulling their results from? I am seeing myself at #10 so they cant be all that bad
Surch scans 15 databases for real time results. I wrote a small blurb about them http:// panaca writing .com/What_is_Surch.html
