I wish that I could find old pinball games that could be played on Win7 or Win10. There is one old one that was ported over to the Win7 OS, but that is about it.
Hi jrbiz, appreciate your feedback. Now, i am recording 3 games at once, so really have no time to make another gameplay . Anyway, keepin pinball in my mind I would check for any. Thx for interesting idea.
A couple of years ago I bought an old Pacman that used to be set up in one of those arcade places that were common in the day. It is a great big monstrosity with a huge screen. It's from 1982 and I paid $300 for the thing. I have it set up in my basement and everyone who comes over becomes hopelessly addicted to it, as am I.
I assume the token or quarter counter has been disabled or you could charge your new customer base. They are great fun. Should I find myself with a few thousand dollars to burn (not likely, lately) I would absolutely look for an actual pinball machine from days of yore. My preference would be an oldie but goodie, called High Hand.
I took out the coin acceptor and all one has to do is to push a hair thin lever down on the coin mechanism twice and you have your game. I prefer level 3 as it is hard while my amateur visitors have to go on level 1 or 2.......jam tarts, all of them! I just love the sounds this machine makes...awesome!
Wow men, i checked my analytics and i need to thank you all for watching, thx for likes and subs. I am glad to see there is an interest across my retro channel Now, i am planning to start a Baldur's Gate series. What do you think ?
I get that you are an "old nerd" (much like me) but you have to learn not to insult half the population. A lot of women play video games, too. E.g., 50% of the people who have posted on your thread, not including you, are female.
It's funny, when you said "old games" I thought you actually meant OLD. Then I realized I'm just older. I have trouble thinking of anything from around '98 onward as 'vintage' or 'classic'... It's like seeing an '88 Olds Cutlass Sierra or '84 Ford Escort with "vintage" plates on it. You could always try my game. It's only eight years old now, but being it's a pac man ripo... homage for DOS that will run on a CGA equipped original 1982 5150 PC? https://deathshadow.com/pakuPaku LGR reviewed it: He's right, I didn't get the memo that people don't write DOS games anymore. Laugh is with magiduck, Planet X3, and dozens of other new DOS titles, it feels like I kicked off a trend. As simple a game as Pac Man is, squeezing 16 colours "graphics" out of a CGA card, maintaining the high smooth frame rates (based on level, 20/24/30), NOT having it run too fast on faster computers, and the wide array of sound card support all took a good deal of trickery. I also include the full source code for anyone who wants to play with it. I've got a much larger project in the works, but putting food on the table has to take priority over doing stuff like this for fun.
Oh, i will definitely not argue who is older I just like those well-designed titles (mostly RPGs) from late 90s , developed on PC. I've never preferred a console gaming. btw i have LGR subbed However, thank you all for your feedback, appreciate it. My latest gameplay: I finally managed to capture Heroes 1 in full-scaled 1080p , let me know what you think.
Truly i have never played Pharaoh. There was AoE 2 released in 1999, so i was focused on it . However, maybe i would check out Pharaoh too. Thx mate.
