Old Neglected PR1 Site - Trash or Salvage?

    Hello Digital Point Forum Guru's,

We have an old neglected PR1 Web site that's been around for 7-10 years; or maybe longer - not sure if I can pot the site. It had a horrible Flash design that didn't do much for search engine placement. To make things worse, little to no link building was done. There is currently 1 link from a PR2 page, from another site to ours. The old site content is worthless, so we rebuilt it using a new custom CMS - with typical on-page SEO.

So, what should we do with this site?

a.) Consider it unsalvageable and start a new keyword rich domain name?
    or
b.) Consider the time the domain has existed and attempt to rebuild PR.

Thanks for any advice / comments.
    Jeff

I would go for B, rebuild the PR to around 3 or 4 then sell it on.

It all depends on how much time and resources you have.

    Definitely, salvage.

Using the old domain is the same as starting from scratch, except that the domain has the benefit of being aged.
