Cinemax and HBO have time slots for old movies, some of which are in black and white made in the 1940s and 50s while some are in color from the 1960s. These movies are so good they show more talk about the nature of things and the psychology of people. Even the violent ones like "Shane" with Alan Ladd in the main role actually showed more drama than the action sequences. Really, the drama gave the action stuff that made the story more compelling than it would have been without it.
