I've heard that the age of domain matters. then, what is more important? age of domain or the age of the website? If age of domain is more important, buying an old domain without website and starting building a new website a good idea?
oh, the title was not good because an old website would have an old domain of course.. but you know what I'm asking, right?
The age of the website is very important of course. I don't think the age of domain matter in anyway.
It's clear that if your website is old, then your domain will be also old. Means to say both will be old. Just only old is not sufficient. e.g. a website is 5 years old, then domain will be also 5 years old. if a domain is 5 years old, then it is not necessary that your domain would be 5 years old. May be just only domain was old and not content and pages will exist on the pages. So, Old website is important.
Old domain will help your new links get indexed on Google within the top 10 faster. x.com is 5yrs old....and you're adding x.com/new_link.html The 5yr age for x.com will help x.com/new_link.html getting indexed very quickly within the top 10. forums.digitalpoint.com Created:1999-04-02 Because you added this thread..you can search on google with your thread title 'Old Domain vs. Old Website' This thread shows as the 11th result and you started this thread Today. Add your new links then go and add backlinks so it stays on the top. My point....Old Domain rocks!
