Well I decided to change my very new domain 1 week ago. All pages were indexed and cached by Google. I have redirected old domain to my newest domain 1:1 with htaccess. I have tested the links and everything is fine. Later I have declared to Google my new domain by using "Change of Address" on Webmaster Tools. Now when I search the old domain, google doesn't show home page. But the other pages related to old domain still will be shown on search result. So Google banned the old domain or is this a good thing? And everyday I got "Googlebot can't access your site" messages for old domain on WMT. And it shows interjection under "Server Connectivity" and "Robots.txt Fetch" Should I worry about it? Sorry It was my first redirect experience.
if you have done 301 redirection through htaccess than its fine there is not any issues with Google indexed. so don't worry. "Google bot can't access your site its a server related issue.
Well, I'm changing my question. When I check "Links to Your Site" on Webmaster Tools, I see 1k+ links from old domain. Doesn't it affect SEO? My new domain is completely indexed. Should I remove entire domain (old one) from google index?
301 redirection is permanent redirection, Google will think that all these pages have been permanently moved to pages on these domain and slowly updates the address (URL) of those pages in its index to the new ones.
