Old business coming up at my address?

Hey guys,

When searching for my business address the old business owner's business is coming up as well as mine and I am worried this is penalizing me. He was in the same type of business as me but failed (became a drug addict). How can i remove them? is there anyone at google i can contact to rectify this?

If the old business was registered in the local google directory you can resubmit the new information. Typically google will send a postcard with authorization code to the address of record, you then can use that information to resubmit the new business information to the local google directory.
