old age domain and serp rank.

if old age domain help much for serp rank. so if one buy a old site and he can rank all keyword based that site. for example. his old site is: www.oldsite.com
and he want to rank for xxx ,yyy or zzz keyword. so he create subfold and rank subpage like: www.oldsite.com/xxx/index.html www.oldsite.com/yyy/index.html
www.oldsite.com/zzz.html something like this. does it work?

 

I doubt it unless the old domain has lots of backlinks pointing towards it.
