I fondly recall a funny, upbeat, sharp witted, Graucho Marx look alike sports caster who graced the sports report of KCBS news in Los Angeles back in the 1980s. His presence made KCBS my prefered news station. I wonder if he would be better off emotionally if he stuck with what he did best. Check out the good ole Keith Olbermann and see what you think.
He is the Graucho Marx to the left of Bree. His previous demeanor throws you off. Did you recognize Jim Lampley? He was one of the primary commentators for the US coverage of the Beijing Olympics.
Keith Olbermann is a good dude. He's one of the few people on the MSM who ever says anything resembling the truth. Plus he's pretty funny.
He was a pretty decent sports guy back in the day. I used to watch that channel. Bree was pretty hot and one of the first disabled broadcasters to have such a high profile. I always thought Olberman would have been better had he gone to Sports Center where he could have given Chris Berman a run for witty banter.
Olbermann is smart and funny, I used to like him as a broadcaster but I think he was given that show mainly to be the alternative to O'Reilly in that slot. I don't like him on his show or really in general anymore on MSNBC. He's way far to the wacky left. I'm not even sure he believes the stuff he spouts, he might just look at it as a gig, he seems to be acting sometimes when his voice cracks sometimes during one of his righteously indignant rants. I used to really like MSNBC. Looking back I can now see that it was probably always a little biased all along but lately they are just blatantly left. Rachel Maddow (sp?) has a new show and she even has the haircut to prove she's a lefty. Some funny stuff happened on MSNBC between the anchors during the dems convention. Scarborough and Shuster get into it over Joe's objectivity. I think Joe is one of the most objective on that network.
