Ok, what now?

Here's my situation. I'm advertising for a certain affiliate advertiser through CJ.com. I've been making sales pretty consistently over the past two months. I've brought them in over $15,000 of sales over the last TWO months. CJ seems to be doing just fine tracking all the sales... however the actual advertiser is not responding to any of my contacts. I have tried contacting them through CJ.com by e-mailing their supplied "Contact" e-mail. After a week, I got no response.

So, I went to their actual site and e-mailed a different address, still no response.

This advertiser is pretty big in its industry so I know they're there :).

Only ONE of my sales have been put in "Locked" status on CJ.com. The rest are either under "New" or "Extended". What do you suggest I do?

Call CJ and tell them about this? Call the advertiser and ask what's up? Or just wait it out?

    Thanks

This is the way it is. There is no reason for it. I can't get any replies out of half the affiliate program managers that I email. I don't know why CJ allows merchants that do not reply to their affiliates. I wrote to CJ about a merchant who would not reply to my emails (I wrote to the particular merchant about 20 times over the period of three months) and CJ wrote back and said that I should be patient with the merchant. I guess three months isn't patient enough. Hopefully you will get a reply eventually but I wouldn't bet on it.

But you got paid correct? That's really all I'm worried about.

In the end I guess I don't care that much. They're business isn't very professional for not replying, but as long as I get my paycheck I won't complain.

Have you tried to use CJ as a way to contact the program manager? I had to do that once when there was some shady stuff going on with a certain advertiser that is no longer part of CJ.

Some advertiser choose to extend the transactions for additional 30 days. However all extended transactions will be paid automatically by cj in next pay cycle if advertiser did not reverse those transactions.
Some time transactions are extended due to non payment by advertiser and it happens with some big advertisers too. You can run a custom report if this is the case....
Hope you will be getpaid in coming paycycle.
