Just a quick question. Is it a violation if I put a header above the links that says "Related Sites" or "Related Links". I don't see the problem since google ads are suppose to be targeted anyway, but they are always throwing out bizarre rules so maybe there's something against the rules with this that I'm not seeing.
They say somewhere that you can only label them as 'Advertisements' or 'Sponsored Links'. I'd stick to one of these two descriptions if you must label your ads.
I guess saying "Friends of [Site]" is definitely out then. Thanks for the replies. If my only choices are Advertisements or Sponsored Links, I think I'll leave them unlabeled.
The important thing is the'misleading label' restriction. You can't have anything that could confuse visitors or imply anything other than a paid link relationship.
