Some of the feedback i received was very positive, and a lot of it I wasn't comfortable with either. SO I changed a few things, and I would be interested in some opinions from everyone, but especially those that reviewed it before, compared to now. Thanks. By the way, I finally got the travel data base integrated, so that's new also. hey, i like your site, loads of content which is great, your top menu is a bit difficult to see though when you hover over it, might want to change that color.

I know. I am having a problem with the buttons. I know the coding is right and the colors are correct, but it won't fricken' change to the colors i have coded. I guess I'll have to hold off on making them rounded until I figure that out.
*whew*, OK, so I am on the right track. I still want to do a few more things, but hopefully I am 80% there. (Changed the "hover" color, by the way, for some reason, it just wouldn't take)
You shouldn't change the size of the links on hover. Once I hover over a link it pushes all other links and that doesn't look so good. And change the font you're using for the headlines. It doesn't look good either. Other than that your blog looks very nice and there are a lot of interesting information there.
Honestly Katy, I am a complete hack with code. I don't know why it's doing that. It is not intentional. (The menu buttons) But I will try and lock it down, and get that changed. What font do you suggest for headlines? I wanted something that was "Comfortable". I'd be interested in some opinions on that, now that I know how to change it
That happens because of the border. Just remove: border:1px solid #ffffff; from .menu-bar li a:hover and it will look good. You can use general fonts like Verdana or Times New Roman. That's what I'm using for my layouts/themes and they always look great. Kate
Make the header menus in shades of blue instead of white. I think a greater logo would also add more appeal to the site.

Yes, that is the plan, but I am having a hard time with the menu buttons. I have the correct color codes in place, but it is not coming out that way on the screen. I have been trying for 3 days now. I used to have them darker, with white lettering..... and white with blue letters on "Hover". I don't know what the problem is. Even with the borders. I have taken that code off completely, and it is still showing up the same way. I am at a loss. Thanks. I still have a lot more content to complete, but that means a lot since you like this style of music. I have been a Fan House and Techno/Trance since the beginning (Yes, the 80's), but building a blog is another story. Appreciate the feedback.
