So I have posted on millions of forums, spammed places, optimized my titles, keywords and so on but now what else is there to do?

What else can you do to help SEO?

 

Build links. Then build more links. When you're done, you're not. Get more links. That's all there's to it.

Well when I say spam I mean making a post but you have your sig with links in it, Am not really one of those crazy spammers like a bot or anything.

So I just gotta link more, How exiting . .

The appropriate saying goes "If you keep doing what you do, you will keep getting what you get."

So if right now you're not making enough money you'll have to put more effort in. SEO generally pays off a few months after you put the effort in. If you need fast results, try advertising like AdWords.

 

Start over... What appear you have done is wasted a bunch of time. Spamming and posting on forums will do nothing for google rankings.

improve your link popularity...submit your site to link directories...create articles and submit them to article directories...exchange links with relevant, quality and trusted sites...

I would like to know what you mean by me 'passing myself off as a seo expert despite my blog and forum'. I beg to differ. Wouldn't my blog and forum confirm that? I am a seo expert and anytime you want me to prove that send me a pm. But please don't challenge it when your posts lack SEO proof themselves.

Those top ten results are for sites that achieved those rankings through some good quality links. take a look at the first one for 'get firefox'. Aaron Wall is the #1 position because anything he writes gets linked to from tons of sites alot of which are pretty high quality. Wall does not do any spamming/forum posting for links so all his links are naturally built to his articles.

On-site optimization is not good enough to achieve these rankings alone. Don't tell me it did.

Once you have installed SEO for firefox from Mr Wall's site, have a good look at the top 10 google rankings for the keyword 'buy viagra'

Now remember that being on the front page of google for this can result in 15-20k per DAY in commission.

The sites in the top 10 are all there because they have exploited various trusted sites and got thier information on them, and then link spammed the hell out of them. Some have in excess of 80k in backlinks. the result for these guys is an outstanding ROI. they will not last more than a couple of weeks, but they have achieved the objective of their creators.

So it actually is the case that spamming backlinks can actually help your rankings in google. (albeit temporarily, but some consider the rewards more than cover the banning of the site / page).
